The Rutles are a legend.
A living legend.
A legend that will live long after other living legends have died.
The Rutles were concieved by Monty Python member, Eric Idle. In a 1978 "mockumentary," All You Need Is Cash, the band parodied the story of the Beatles using four lookalikes, Ron Nasty (played by Neil Innes), Dirk McQuickly (Idle), Stig O'Hara (Ricky Fataar), and Barrington Womble, aka Barry Wom (John Halsey). The band released two albums, The Rutles (which was essentially the soundtrack to All You Need is Cash) and Archaelogy. In 2004, the Rutles released a second movie, Can't Buy Me Lunch. In general, a fanlisting is just a place for fans of a certain thing, such as a TV show, a band or in this case, a person, to come together to share their love. For more fanlistings, please visit TheFanlistings.org.
I created this fanlisting for the Rutles because their songs are freaking catchy as hell, and All You Need is Cash is one of my favorite movies of all time. The first time I saw it, I died. It was that funny.
The name I Must Be In Love was taken from the title of one my favorite Rutles songs. As for the layout, I cut up the cover of the fictional Rutles album A Hard Day's Rut that I found on rutles.org. GO VISIT THAT SITE NOW! Links to the brushes used can be found here.
