The Lovin' Spoonful was founded by John Sebastian and had its roots in the band the Mugwumps, which split to become the LS and the Mamas and Papas. The band was named after a Mississippi John Hurt Song and also included members Zal Yanovsky, Joseph Campbell Butler, and Steve Boone. Their music was a mix of pop and folk music and produced such hits as "Daydream," "Do You Believe in Magic?" "Summer in the City," "You Didn't Have to Be So Nice," and "Nashville Cats." Today, a version of the Lovin' Spoonful still tours. The band was also inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
In general, a fanlisting is just a place for fans of a certain thing, such as a TV show, a band or in this case, a person, to come together to share their love. For more fanlistings, please visit TheFanlistings.org.
I created this fanlisting for the Lovin' Spoonful because they're one of my favorite bands. Their music is so expressive and lyrically rich. I love that their music just makes me feel good when I listen to it.
The name Younger Generation was chosen because it's the name of one of the Spoonful's songs. As for the layout, I used a random pictures of the Lovin' Spoonful that I found online. Links to the brushes used can be found here.
